Two ways to get your Chase transactions
Chase offers two data sources — don't mix them up:
- Account Activity: direct export as CSV (also QFX and QBO). This is the ideal format for ScanCompte.
- Monthly Statements: available only as PDF, with up to 7 years of history.
Download your transactions as CSV (recommended)
- Sign in at chase.com on a desktop browser (the mobile app is limited for this task).
- Select the relevant account, then open the Activity tab.
- Click the download icon at the top-right of the transactions list.
- Choose the CSV format and your date range, then confirm.
Good to know: the activity export covers roughly 24 months and is capped at 1,000 rows per file (beyond that, the file is silently truncated). For older history, use the PDF statements.
What about monthly statements (PDF)?
In the Statements section, you can download your official statements as PDF. Chase offers no CSV export for these — just upload the PDF directly to ScanCompte.
