Frequently asked questions
How is the "invested" amount calculated?
We assume that each month, instead of paying the subscription, you put the same amount into something that earns the chosen rate, compounded monthly. It is a simplified projection: it ignores taxes, fees and market swings. It gives an order of magnitude, not a forecast.
Are the one-click prices accurate?
They are typical prices, close to current list prices. Platforms change them regularly: check yours on your statement and edit the amount, the result updates instantly.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Everything is computed in your browser and nothing is stored on our servers. The share link simply carries your subscriptions and the chosen rate, so whoever opens it sees the same calculation.
How do I find out which subscriptions I actually pay for?
Export your bank statement as a CSV file and upload it to ScanCompte: the analysis spots every recurring charge, including those billed under a name you do not recognise. The first scan is free and the file is deleted within 24 hours.
