Revolut does not post monthly statements to you. Instead, you generate the statement yourself for whatever period you need, from the app or from the web portal. The one thing to keep in mind is that Revolut is a multi-currency account: a statement always covers one account in one currency.
Generate a statement in the app
- Open the Revolut app and stay on Home in the bottom menu.
- Tap Accounts and pick the currency account you want (GBP, EUR, USD…).
- Tap the … button, then Statement.
- Pick your date range — custom dates are allowed, not just calendar months — and the file format: Excel for data you can work with, PDF for an official document.
- Tap Generate, then the export icon in the top right corner to save or share the file.
The same flow exists on the web at app.revolut.com, under your profile in the documents and statements section, where CSV is also offered depending on your account type.
Formats and limits worth knowing
- One statement per currency. If you hold GBP, EUR and USD balances, that is three separate downloads — no single file covers them all.
- Pockets and Vaults get their own statements. Money moved into a vault shows up as an outgoing transfer on the main account.
- The spreadsheet export carries multi-currency columns (currency, exchange rate, fees). They are useful, but accounting software expecting a single currency can choke on them.
- The PDF is the official version — the one to send to a landlord, a mortgage broker or a tax office. The spreadsheet is the one to analyse.
- Revolut Business accounts add CSV, XML (CAMT.053) and TXT (MT940), plus a signed and stamped PDF option.
Why Revolut statements are full of subscriptions
Plenty of people use their Revolut card specifically for online services: streaming, apps, free trials that quietly turned into monthly charges. A twelve-month statement often surfaces more recurring payments than a main current account does — including renewals nobody remembers agreeing to.
Generate a statement covering at least three months and upload it to ScanCompte: spending is grouped by category and payments that repeat on a regular cycle are pulled out on their own. The process is close to the one described for exporting a Wise statement or exporting a Monzo statement.
