CSV is a WebApp-only feature
This is the N26 detail worth knowing before you start: the mobile app only gives you monthly PDF statements. A CSV export — or any report over a custom date range — is produced from the WebApp, in a browser.
Export your transactions as a CSV (WebApp)
- Sign in to the N26 WebApp from your browser.
- On the Home tab, select the account — or the Space — you want.
- Click Downloads.
- Under Account Activity, enter your start date and end date.
- Choose CSV as the format and click Download.
The date range is fully customizable, so you can pull six or twelve months in a single file — exactly what you want when hunting recurring charges.
Getting a monthly PDF statement
- In the app: Finances tab → select the account or Space → gear icon → Balance statements → pick the month.
- In the WebApp: Home tab → account → Downloads → under Bank statements, pick the month.
These are official documents, valid without a signature or stamp — but PDF only, with no spreadsheet equivalent.
Which file to upload
Go for the WebApp CSV over at least three consecutive months: a monthly subscription is invisible on a single statement, and a yearly renewal even more so. Monthly PDFs work too. Upload the file to ScanCompte and your spending is categorized automatically, with recurring charges flagged. We never connect to your bank, and your file is deleted within 24 hours.
